Founded in 2010, AFRIFF has grown into one of the continent\u2019s most prestigious film festivals, attracting filmmakers from across Africa and the diaspora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ghanaian-Liberian-Lebanese actress rose to prominence after her debut role in <em>Crime to Christ<\/em> (2005) and has since appeared in over 50 productions across Ghana\u2019s <em>Ghallywood<\/em> and Nigeria\u2019s <em>Nollywood<\/em>. She received <em>Best Actress in a Leading Role<\/em> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/ghanamovieawards.com\/\">2010 Ghana Movie Awards<\/a> for <em>4 Play<\/em> and was honored with an <em>Achievement in Directing<\/em> award for <em>Widow\u2019s Gift<\/em> in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond film, Ibrahim is the first female President of <a href=\"https:\/\/wiftghana.org\/\">Women in Film, Television, and Media Ghana (WIFT Ghana)<\/a>, advocating for gender equity and professional growth for women in the creative industries.
